Overgeneralization: The stupid but common fallacies of incorrectly applying one or two examples to all cases

If you have not seen this commercial, a friend while at the gym takes his friends Doritos. He offers it to his other friends who gladly take some. When he ask where he got the doritos he says his friends locker out of no where his friend comes out in a ninja Doritos suit and attacks them.

hashtags

It was great going to look up the history behind my favorite sport, golf. When I looked up the hash tag #golfhistory I had found a statement saying that in 1297, the Dutch people played a golf like game with sticks and a leather ball. After researching the history on the game, I found out that in 1457 the game was banned from Scotland. After looking at the history of the game I went to look for historical golf courses. The Royal Lytham's, is a famous course that holds the British Open every year from July 19 to the 22. After typing the #golf, I found a tweet talking about how the Lytham's has 206 deep, treacherous traps witch are also known as sand traps.

Tiger and Phil

I just read an article about Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods written by Farrell Evans. In this article Evans talks about how every time Phil or Tiger are in contention to win a tournament the TV ratings go up, and even more when this two are pared together and have a chance for victory. I agree with Evans, this two men know how to put on a great show. Phil amazing shot game and Tiger just making impossible shots anywhere on the course. Both of this golfers are playing in the Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia this week. One can only imagine how the ratings will be for this tournament.

diigo interest

Being able to find people that have the same interest as is great because you automatically know you have something in common. Like me and majority of guys like fast cars or just cars in general. I found a group that talks about cars its not really about fast cars. For example, one of the post on the groups wall is talking about the new BMW 2011 Z4 GT3 that boasts a 4.4-liter V8 engine. Another group that I found on Diigo is a golf group. Being my favorite sport to play, it is always nice to read about the new technology that is coming out. The final group that I joined is something everybody can relate to is a group talking about movies. This group talks about the latest movies coming to theaters and ones that have been out for a while.

blog 1

What makes me me is always a difficult question to put in to words. I mean I have always had people ask that question in some shape or form before. I can start out by saying I am a kind person. I know a lot of people say that about themselves, but I have people saying that to me or it is relayed to me through other people. Also I am not a person who gets angry easily. Sure there is probably a breaking point for me, but no one has gone that far yet. I am also goal oriented When I set my mind to something I want to finish that project before I move on to something else. People see me as a good friend to have (or that is what I hope they think about me). Sometimes I can be the funny guy in the group, sometimes mister personality, or just someone to talk to. In life I just want to try to be the friendlies, most helpful person in a group. In my blog I am going to try and keep them personal but it might cross between personal and professional.

lamborghinis, golf fitting

It is always an exciting read for me when it is about fast cars and the improvement in golf technology. One of the blogs was about the new Aventador Lamborghini. This machine has some massive horse power to it, 6.5 litter 509 lb-ft V-12 engine. If that was not convincing enough, the people at Moto Trend Magazine arranged a drag race with a F-16 fighter jet. The F-16 uses a f-110 turbofan jet engine, which produces 28,600 lb-ft of thrust with the afterburner. It is a race you have to see to believe. The other article talks about my favorite sport golf. In this blog the writer, Andrew Rice, is stating how club manufactures have invested heavily on club fitting. For those that do not know much about the game, club fitting is getting the right size club, right shaft and flex for a person. In some cases it is cheaper then going and buying logo brand clubs.

Catfish review

Catfish was a documentary on three boys, Yaniv ("Nev"), Ariel ("Rel") and their filmmaker Henry Joost, detailing the potential pitfalls with social networking. Just as widely discussed and altogether more controversial as The Social Network is the low-budget movie Catfish, which purports to be a documentary about an encounter involving Facebook between people from very different social backgrounds. Even though this film was highly consider, it did not turn out so well for the all viewers. Suntimes had something to say about the film, "people can view  this film as a cautionary tale about living your emotional life on the Internet. Or possibly the whole thing is a hoax." Others felt of the movie, "there is an art to perfect movie criteria, but this documentary Catfish is in an entirely different league." Finally some thought the movie was quite startling for it's suspense, intrigue, and deviance .
