Catfish review

Catfish was a documentary on three boys, Yaniv ("Nev"), Ariel ("Rel") and their filmmaker Henry Joost, detailing the potential pitfalls with social networking. Just as widely discussed and altogether more controversial as The Social Network is the low-budget movie Catfish, which purports to be a documentary about an encounter involving Facebook between people from very different social backgrounds. Even though this film was highly consider, it did not turn out so well for the all viewers. Suntimes had something to say about the film, "people can view  this film as a cautionary tale about living your emotional life on the Internet. Or possibly the whole thing is a hoax." Others felt of the movie, "there is an art to perfect movie criteria, but this documentary Catfish is in an entirely different league." Finally some thought the movie was quite startling for it's suspense, intrigue, and deviance .

  1. This is how I exactly felt about the movie, although I do not believe this is all what our teacher required us to do.
